HISTORY.
elsie didn't figure out why her father was gone all the time until she was ten years old when she nearly died. she was used as bait in one of her father's schemes, a gun to her head. but the gun pressed to her beloved older sister's head went off. elsie escaped, shaking as she wiped her sister remains off in the bath.
she distanced herself from her father. her mother didn't even know. her illness made her unaware of most things. she passed away weeks afterwards.
inspired by her mother, a world-renowned ballerina, elsie started dancing. she loved it. but the environment got to her. elsie was pressured into starving herself. no one noticed how she was suffering until one of her fellow ballerina's woke her up after she fainted. still elsie's eating habits were poor.
elsie acted out daydreams to cope. her father recognized her talent and sent her to a local theater to be in their plays to keep her away. she rose to fame. her father already spent most of his time in la so he brought her along to be in the moving pictures. elsie hid most of the money she made, only giving some of hers to her father because he demanded it.
the moment she turned eighteen, she took off. elsie already secured herself a good apartment.
elsie wanted revenge on her father and makes connections to his rival gangsters to do it.
